What to Look for in the Diablo 4 Open Beta?

Diablo 4 is just around the corner and the upcoming open beta is the perfect chance to preview the game before its June 6th launch. Players will have access to the first act, the prologue, and a level cap of 25. With that in mind, here are the big things to look out for during the open beta.

First, the shared world experience is something to pay close attention to. We'll get to fight Ashava, one of the game's world bosses, and see how players join together to take them down. This will give us a glimpse of the group infrastructure post-launch and how the team is blending classic MMO elements with the ARPG style of Diablo.

Second, the skill tree system is something to pay close attention to. We'll get to see how far the skill tree system allows players to customize their character and how balanced the respect costs are. It's important to make sure that it's not more cost-effective to re-level a character than to respect it.

Third, the class combat experience is key. We'll get to test out all five classes and experience their unique move sets and mechanics. It's important to understand the core of each class and see if any of them really resonate with us.

Finally, it's important to pay close attention to the story and characters. We know the events of the game take place a few decades after Diablo 3, and that Lilith is our main antagonist. How the team presents her and the overall tone of the story will be key in determining the success of the game.

So, those are the big things to look out for during the Diablo 4 open beta. It's a free event so take advantage of it and get a feel for the game before its June 6th launch.
