Counter the New World Elementalist Version and Enhance Mage Build

If you're playing a mage, the New World Elementalist version is a great perk for your build, but it can be tricky to counter if your opponent has it. Luckily, there are a few tactics that you can use to counter the elemental version meta. 

For fire staff players, the best way to counter the elemental version is to run a meteor shower. The first stick of damage from the meteor shower will be counted by elemental, however, the rest of the damage will remain the same, making it a great option for countering the elemental version. 

For ice gauntlet players, you can counter the elemental version by running Ice Storm, Wind Chill, and Ice Spike. All three of these abilities will not be counted by the elemental version. 

For Void Gauntlet players, Oblivion, Void Blight Wall, and White Collar are all great options for countering the elemental version. Oblivion and White Collar will both not be counted by the elemental version, making them a great option for dealing massive damage. 

Overall, there are plenty of options for countering the elemental version if you're playing a mage. Fire, ice, and void gauntlets all have great options that will allow you to counteract the elemental version, and make sure you're still dealing maximum damage.
